Description
The Shure GLXD14+/B98-Z3 (GLXD14+ B98, GLX-D+ with BETA 98H/C) is a dual-band digital wireless instrument system for brass, woodwind and percussion players. It pairs a GLXD1+ bodypack and a BETA 98H/C clip-on gooseneck microphone with a GLXD4+ tabletop receiver, works in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands, and runs up to 12 hours on its rechargeable SB904 battery.
The receiver finds a clear frequency automatically and moves away from interference without an audio dropout, and the SB904 battery charges in a bay on the receiver or via USB-C.

What is in the box?
The GLXD4+ receiver, the GLXD1+ bodypack, the BETA 98H/C microphone, a PS43 power supply, one SB904 lithium-ion rechargeable battery and a black carrying case.
Which instruments is it for?
Brass, woodwind and percussion. The BETA 98H/C clips onto the instrument, and its flexible gooseneck lets you position the capsule.
How does it handle interference?
It avoids it automatically. GLX-D+ works across both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, which more than doubles the available bandwidth, and it moves away from interference automatically without interrupting audio.
How many systems can I run together?
Up to 4 typical and 8 in optimal conditions. If you limit the system to 2.4 GHz only, Shure rates up to 4 typical and 5 optimal.
How do I charge the battery?
Put the SB904 in the charging bay on the GLXD4+ receiver, or charge it via USB-C. The receiver's bay LED shows red while charging and green when charged.
GLXD14+/B98 or BLX14R/B98?
Both use the BETA 98H/C clip-on gooseneck. The GLXD14+/B98 is digital and dual band, with 20 Hz to 20 kHz response, 122 dB dynamic range and a rechargeable battery. The BLX14R/B98 is an analog system with a rack-mount receiver, 50 Hz to 15 kHz response and 100 dB dynamic range, running on 2 AA batteries.
