Description
The Shure GLXD14R+-Z3 (GLXD14R+, GLX-D+ rack system) is a dual-band digital wireless guitar and bass system that pairs a GLXD1+ bodypack transmitter and WA302 instrument cable with a GLXD4R+ steel half-rack receiver. It operates in both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz, runs up to 12 hours on the included SB904 rechargeable battery, and the receiver mounts in a rack with the included hardware.
Plug the WA302 cable (TA4F to 1/4 in) into your guitar or bass, clip on the bodypack, and the system finds a clear channel automatically and moves away from interference without interrupting the audio. Because the GLXD1+ takes any Shure TA4F (TQG) microphone, the same system also works with a Shure headset or lavalier mic later.

Is the GLXD14R+ a guitar system or a microphone system?
It ships as a guitar and bass system: the included WA302 cable connects the bodypack to your instrument and there is no microphone in the box. The GLXD1+ bodypack also accepts Shure TA4F (TQG) headset and lavalier mics if you add one later.
Can I rack-mount the receiver?
Yes. The GLXD4R+ is a steel half-rack, 1 RU receiver and the rack-mount hardware is included.
How many systems can I run at once?
Up to 4 typical and 8 optimal on their own. Connect GLXD4R+ receivers to the GLX-D+ Frequency Manager and Shure rates up to 11 typical and 16 optimal channels.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 12 hours per charge from the included SB904 lithium-ion battery. It charges in the receiver's built-in bay or over USB-C, and the receiver displays remaining runtime in hours and minutes.
GLXD14R+ rack system or GLXD14+ tabletop system?
Both use the GLXD1+ bodypack and WA302 instrument cable. This GLXD14R+ uses the GLXD4R+ steel half-rack receiver, 7.7 x 6.4 x 1.6 in and 30.5 oz (866 g), with -18 to 42 dB gain and Frequency Manager support for up to 16 optimal channels. The GLXD14+-Z3 uses the GLXD4+ tabletop receiver, 7.2 x 4.8 x 1.6 in and 10.9 oz (310 g), with up to 8 optimal channels, and comes with a black carrying case instead of rack hardware. For a pedalboard, see the GLXD16+-Z3 guitar pedal system. Browse all of them in Shure GLX-D+ Wireless Systems, and add a spare SB904 battery or the WA305 locking guitar cable.
