The black Shure MX415RLP/S 15" Super cardioid Micro flex Modular Gooseneck Microphone is a gooseneck microphone with a sleek, low-profile suitable for use on conference tables, podiums, altars, and lecterns where aesthetics is important. It features an interchangeable microphone cartridge design and is offered with a super cardioid cartridge. The super cardioid pick-up pattern focuses voice capture tightly on the subject in front of the mic for substantially less background sound and feedback.

The 15" gooseneck features a flexible Micro flex section to facilitate precise mic positioning. The red-light ring on top indicates the mic's on/Mute status when it is connected to an automatic mixer.

The MX415RLP/S comes without a preamp, since it is primarily designed to be mounted on either an MXW8 or ULXD8 wireless tabletop base. Other mounting options are available with the addition of a preamplifier module. The mic features COMM Shield technology for shielding against RF interference from portable wireless devices.
