Description
The Shure QLXD4 (QLX-D4) is a single-channel, half-rack digital wireless receiver for QLX-D handheld and bodypack transmitters, built for houses of worship, presentation spaces, music venues and touring rigs. It delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio with 120 dB of dynamic range, runs more than 60 compatible channels per frequency band, and secures the signal with AES-256 encryption.
Automatic channel scan finds an open frequency and one-touch IR sync sends it to the transmitter. Ethernet networking adds networked channel scanning across multiple receivers, control from Shure Wireless Workbench on a PC or Mac, and monitoring from iOS devices with the ShurePlus Channels app. The QLXD4 is sold in several frequency bands; choose the band that matches your QLXD1 or QLXD2 transmitters.

Which transmitters work with the QLXD4?
QLX-D transmitters on the same frequency band: the QLXD1 bodypack and QLXD2 handhelds such as the QLXD2/SM58, QLXD2/B58 and QLXD2/KSM9. Match the band code (for example H50) on the receiver and the transmitter.
Can I rack-mount the QLXD4?
Yes. It is a half-rack unit and ships with a rackmount kit, long and short brackets, a link plate and BNC bulkhead adapters for front-mounting the antennas.
Can I run several QLXD4 receivers together?
Yes. Connect them over Ethernet and networked channel scan assigns open frequencies to every receiver in the same band, and Wireless Workbench handles frequency coordination for larger systems. Shure rates QLX-D at more than 60 compatible channels per band.
Is the wireless signal secure?
Yes. AES-256 encryption comes standard and is switched on from the receiver menu.
QLXD4, SLXD4 or ULX-D?
The QLXD4 is a single-channel receiver with networked scanning, Wireless Workbench control and AES-256 encryption. The SLXD4 is the single-channel receiver for the SLX-D series. For more channels in one chassis, the ULXD4D holds two channels and the ULXD4Q holds four.
