Inside, a closed-cell foam interior is form cut to cradle the unit securely, preventing movement and protecting it from shocks during transport. Beneath the main compartment, an open accessory area measuring 17" x 12" x 3"–5.5" provides generous space for the power supply, EX2 Expression Pedal, Expand D10, sheet music, a tablet, and other essential accessories, keeping your entire rig organized in one case.
As part of the SKB iSeries Injection Molded Mil-Standard Waterproof lineup, the 3i-2217-8SXL is constructed from ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin for exceptional durability. The case features a complete gasket seal that makes it fully watertight and dust-tight, with a submersible design tested to MIL-STD 810H standards. It is highly resistant to UV exposure, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impact damage, ensuring reliable protection in demanding touring, studio, and live-performance environments.
Designed for secure handling and long-term reliability, the case includes molded-in hinges, patented Trigger Latch® systems, and locking loops for customer-supplied padlocks. Rubber over-molded cushion grip handles provide a comfortable, non-slip hold when lifting or carrying.
