The SKB Cases 3i-2424M144U is a professional-grade 4U Fly Rack designed for secure transport and storage of delicate rack-mount equipment. Featuring a removable injection-molded rack frame with a 20” depth, it fits seamlessly into SKB’s iSeries cases and is protected by high-quality polyethylene foam. This interior foam safeguards protruding knobs, buttons, and other sensitive components, ensuring your gear remains safe during shipping or flight.
Beneath the rack frame, an open accessory pocket measuring 15.75” x 15.5” x 3.25” provides convenient storage for cables, adapters, and additional equipment. At less than half the weight of standard shock racks, this Fly Rack is optimized for portability. In-line wheels and a push-button release pull handle make transportation effortless, while Travel Sentry® Approved locking latches allow TSA inspection without damage, giving peace of mind when traveling.
Built to SKB’s legendary iSeries standards, the 3i-2424M144U features a rugged, ultra-high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin construction with a gasket-sealed, waterproof, and dust-tight design (MIL-C-4150J). Additional features include a molded-in hinge, patented Trigger Latch® system, snap-down rubber over-molded cushion grip handle, automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C), and resistance to UV, solvents, corrosion, fungus, and impact (MIL-STD 810H). This combination of durability and convenience makes it the ideal solution for safely transporting professional rack-mount gear.
