Built with a high-strength, lightweight aluminum alloy chassis and carbon steel rack rails, this case offers reliable protection against shock, vibration, and the elements. It’s shockproof, dustproof, watertight, and resistant to heat and chemicals, making it ideal for use in demanding environments.
This case features eight elastomeric isolators, which provide shock and vibration mitigation for equipment weighing between 40 lbs. and 150 lbs. The interior design allows for proper air circulation and heat dissipation, ensuring your equipment remains safe and functional during transport. With a standard 19-inch rack width and 20-inch rail-to-rail depth, it meets ANSI/EIA-310-C specifications, providing secure mounting options.
The rugged roto-molded shell ensures excellent impact resistance, while the included 2-inch-deep front and rear lids accommodate gear that’s longer than 20 inches. The case also includes molded-in stacking ribs and lugs, making it easy to stack with other SKB cases or competitive brands. Black powder-coated stainless-steel hardware and spring-loaded handles ensure easy handling and durability.
Additional features include gasket-sealed lids for secure closure, a pressure relief valve for pressure changes, and coupling straps for safely securing multiple cases together when stacked.
