The SKB 3RS-7U20-22B is a 7U static shock rack designed to provide superior protection for sensitive electronic equipment. It is part of the 3RS Series, which is lightweight, shockproof, watertight, dustproof, heat- and chemical-resistant. This rugged case is ideal for professionals who need to transport and safeguard their valuable gear in demanding environments. The inner chassis is constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy extrusions with 11-gauge hot-rolled carbon steel rack rails, meeting EIA-310 standards. The case includes eight elastomeric isolators to absorb shock and vibration, ensuring stability for payloads ranging from 40 lbs. to 150 lbs. (optional extended range of 160 lbs. to 300 lbs. available by special order).
Made from LMDP Linear Medium Density Polyethylene plastic, this case meets or exceeds MIL-STD 810H standards. It features square-hole rack rails to support both #10-32 US standard and 6mm international standard cage nuts, which are included.
Designed for maximum durability, the case includes a roto-molded shell, recessed black powder-coated stainless-steel hardware, molded stacking ribs, and a COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) design with 2" deep front and rear lids. Additional features include an automatic pressure relief valve, gasket-sealed lids with built-in lid hangers, and coupling straps for stacking multiple racks securely.
