The SKB 3RS-9U20-22B is a 9-unit rack from the 3RS Series, designed for superior protection and transportation of sensitive electronic equipment. It is lightweight, shockproof, watertight, dustproof, heat, and chemical resistant, making it ideal for rugged environments. Built with high-strength aluminum alloy extrusions and 11-gauge hot rolled carbon steel rack rails, the inner rack chassis meets EIA-310 standards. The shock and vibration mitigation system includes eight (8) elastomeric isolators, rated for 40 lbs. to 150 lbs. payload (optional 160 lbs. to 300 lbs. extended range available by special order). The shock-absorbing interior ensures air circulation and heat dissipation to protect equipment.
The LMDP Linear Medium Density Polyethylene roto-molded shell meets MIL-STD 810H standards. The rack measures 20" deep rail-to-rail with a standard 19" rack width, featuring square-hole rack rails that support #10-32 US standard or 6mm international standard cage nuts (included).
For convenience, this stackable case features molded-in stacking ribs and lugs, allowing secure stacking with SKB 3RR, 3RS, and other compatible cases. The 2" deep front and rear lids provide additional space for longer rack-mounted gear. Other essential features include black powder-coated recessed stainless-steel hardware, an automatic pressure relief valve, gasket-sealed lids with built-in lid hangers, comfort grip spring-loaded lift handles, and coupling straps for securing multiple racks.
