The Solid State Logic DELTAL-INKMADIOPTI is a professional-grade format converter that enables bi-directional conversion between MADI Optical and MADI Coaxial formats. It supports up to 64 audio channels (64 in x 64 out) at standard rates and 32 channels at 96 kHz, ensuring flexibility for a wide range of digital audio setups. Conversion occurs in real time with zero latency and without any loss of audio quality, making it ideal for live sound, studio, or broadcast applications.
Beyond simple format conversion, the MADI Opti-Coax can extend coaxial MADI connections by up to 1 km when paired with a second unit and utilizing the optical format. The front panel includes both MADI SC duplex optical connectors and MADI BNC coaxial connectors for straightforward integration into existing systems, allowing engineers to adapt their setups efficiently without compromising signal integrity.
Constructed from a durable all-metal enclosure with non-slip rubber feet, the MADI Opti-Coax is built to withstand professional environments. It features a standard IEC C14 mains inlet and can be mounted in a standard 19" rack, with up to three units positioned side-by-side. T-slot mounting options on either side of the unit provide additional installation flexibility, making it a reliable and versatile solution for any audio network.
