The Solid State Logic LIVE-L100PLUS-BUNDLE is designed for small to mid-scale production projects, delivering the full power and flexibility of SSL’s next-generation Optimal Core Processing (OCP) technology. The console supports up to 472 inputs and 472 outputs with 128 mix paths at 96 kHz. These mix paths are fully configurable and can be assigned as channels, stem groups, auxes, or masters, accommodating anything from mono setups to 5.1 surround, providing unmatched versatility for a wide range of production needs.
Output Matrix and Processing:
The L100 Plus features a comprehensive output matrix with four sets of 32 inputs and 12 outputs. Each of the 12 matrix output paths includes high- and low-pass filters, a 4-band EQ, 2 seconds of delay, and SSL’s signature All Pass Filters. Additionally, two insert points allow integration with both the internal Effects Rack and external processors, ensuring flexible routing and creative processing options for live and studio applications.
Local I/O Connectivity:
The console provides a versatile collection of built-in local I/O, enabling standalone operation without the need for stage boxes. Standard connectivity includes four pairs of coaxial MADI ports, an FX loop via optical MADI for external effects, optional redundant SSL Blacklight II fiber connectors, a Dante card offering 32x32 channels with sample rate conversion, optional SSL X-Light connectors, Word clock, and an optional redundant power supply. Local analogue I/O includes 12 mic/line inputs, 2 front-panel talkback inputs, 12-line outputs, 2 headphone/monitor outputs, and a 3.5 mm front-panel line input. AES/EBU I/O provides 4 pairs of inputs and outputs with fully variable sample rate conversion.
Unified SSL Live Console Platform:
The L100 Plus shares the same audio conversion, internal audio engine, and Remote I/O architecture as all other SSL Live consoles, including the L650, L550 Plus, L450, L350 Plus, and L200 Plus. All consoles offer identical channel processing, insert effects, and software functionality, with differences limited to physical size, layout, available channel paths, processing power, and local I/O. This ensures consistent performance and workflow across the entire SSL Live range.
Live V5.0 Software Enhancements:
The L100 Plus benefits from SSL’s latest V5.0 software, which adds integrated control of Meyer Sound immersive loudspeaker systems via the Space Map Go app, new Plus Processing Packs, enhanced third-party device control, and innovative processing tools including Blitzer and Sorcerer. Path Recall Safe and other workflow enhancements ensure that SSL Live consoles remain at the forefront of live production technology, keeping engineers fully equipped to meet modern performance demands.
