The Solid State Logic UF1 is a compact yet exceptionally powerful DAW control centre, designed to bring SSL’s legendary advanced workflow into the world of in-the-box productions. Combining professional-grade tactile controls with high-resolution visual feedback, UF1 provides an intuitive and immersive experience that allows producers, engineers, and musicians to focus fully on creativity without technical distractions. The premium 100 mm motorized fader offers smooth, precise control, replicating the feel and response of large-format SSL consoles, while the dual high-resolution 1.7” and 4.3” TFT displays give clear, detailed feedback of track names, parameter values, time code, and integration with SSL Meter Pro, Meter plug-ins, and 360-enabled channel strips.
UF1’s ergonomic design makes complex session navigation effortless. Its weighted jog wheel and dedicated transport controls allow fast, accurate movement through large sessions, while secondary transport keys can be customized to essential workflow functions such as loop on/off, automation access, or DAW-specific shortcuts. The large notched encoder provides multi-functional control, enabling channel banking, mouse wheel emulation in Focus mode, and system volume adjustment. Adjustable stands with six different elevation angles ensure a comfortable and user-defined placement, minimizing fatigue during long sessions and maintaining a workflow that’s both natural and efficient.
Customization is at the heart of the UF1 workflow. Forty-six assignable backlit soft keys allow users to program custom macros, DAW commands, and workflow shortcuts for complete session control. Whether you are mixing, recording, or editing, these keys ensure that your most-used functions are always within reach. Deep integration with SSL 360° software gives full control over pans, sends, and plug-ins, providing a seamless bridge between your hardware and software environment.
