Universal Audio 4710D-U Microphone Preamp and Compressor

The Universal Audio 4-710D combines four award-winning 710 Twin-Finity microphone preamps into a single professional 2U rackmount unit. Each channel features unique tube and solid-state tone blending, allowing engineers to dial in anything from pristine clarity to rich analog warmth.

In addition to its flexible preamp design, the 4-710d includes integrated 1176-style compression on every channel. Dual gain stages, high-impedance instrument inputs, phantom power, phase inversion, and low-cut filtering provide complete control over vocals, instruments, and line-level sources.

The unit also functions as a premium A/D converter with support for up to 24-bit/192kHz recording. Featuring ADAT optical and AES/EBU digital outputs, the 4-710d easily integrates with modern recording systems while expanding studio input capabilities with professional Universal Audio sound.
