The Universal Audio Bock 167 is a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone inspired by the classic U67 design. It delivers rich, smooth tonal character while adding modern flexibility for today’s recording needs.
With continuously variable polar patterns, the Bock 167 allows precise control between omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-8 responses. This makes it highly adaptable for vocals, acoustic instruments, voiceovers, and studio recording applications.
Built in Universal Audio’s Custom Shop, the microphone features advanced tone-shaping tools including a fat switch, multi-position high-frequency EQ, and a -10 dB pad. These controls let users shape sound directly at the source for cleaner, more controlled recordings.
