The Universal Audio Bock 187 FET is a modern reinterpretation of the legendary U87-style studio microphone, handcrafted in the USA by designer David Bock. It blends vintage-inspired tone with modern reliability and flexible onboard controls for professional studio use.

Built around a class-A FET circuit and a high-quality Cinemag transformer, the Bock 187 delivers rich low-end, smooth mids, and controlled high frequencies. Its Fat switch, lo-cut filter, and pad provide practical tone-shaping options directly on the microphone.

With high SPL handling, wide dynamic range, and detailed transient response, the Bock 187 is well-suited for vocals, acoustic instruments, guitar cabinets, and voiceover work, offering a refined and versatile studio sound.
