The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO Core is a high-performance DSP accelerator designed for professional recording, mixing, and mastering. Powered by eight SHARC processors, it delivers massive plug-in processing power without burdening your computer's CPU.
With Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, the Satellite offers faster performance, reduced latency, and improved efficiency at high sample rates. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports enable easy daisy-chaining with additional peripherals, making it a flexible addition to any studio setup.
The included Analog Classics Plus bundle provides a collection of iconic vintage-inspired processors, including compressors, EQs, reverbs, and preamps. The OCTO Core can also be combined with Apollo interfaces and other UAD-2 devices to create an expanded DSP ecosystem for demanding productions. Thunderbolt cable required and available separately.
