The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt QUAD Core is a powerful external DSP accelerator designed to run UAD plug-ins independently of your computer's CPU. Equipped with four SHARC processors, it provides the extra processing power needed for large recording and mixing sessions.
Featuring Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, the Satellite delivers low-latency performance, improved efficiency at higher sample rates, and seamless integration with modern Mac and Windows systems. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports also allow convenient daisy-chaining with other compatible devices.
The included Analog Classics Plus bundle provides a collection of legendary preamps, compressors, EQs, and effects to enhance your productions right away. It can also be combined with Apollo interfaces and other UAD-2 devices to create a scalable DSP-powered recording and mixing environment and Thunderbolt cable required and available separately.
