The Waldorf IRIDIUM KEYBOARD 16 Voice Digital Synthesizer takes the high class synthesis power of the Iridium desktop and expands it into a performance-ready instrument. It introduces a world-first 49-key FATAR TP/8SK semi-weighted polyphonic aftertouch keyboard, allowing expressive control where every note responds individually to pressure. Combined with a powerful Mod Matrix with 40 modulation slots and full MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) support, the Iridium Keyboard behaves more like an acoustic instrument, giving musicians true polyphonic expression and spontaneous sound control.

Its expanded front panel offers a one-knob-per-function workflow, making programming and sound design intuitive. Six freely programmable Macro buttons, alongside pitch and modulation wheels, deliver additional real-time control. The highly responsive touchscreen provides visual feedback for oscillators, filters, modulation, and effects, blending hands-on control with interactive navigation. Sounds are fully compatible and interchangeable with Waldorf’s flagship Quantum synthesizer, ensuring seamless integration across your setup.

At its core, the Iridium Keyboard features five synthesis models across three oscillators: Wavetable, Waveform (virtual analog), Particle (sampling and granular), Resonator, and Kernels, opening limitless sonic possibilities from classic analog warmth to cutting-edge textures. Three true stereo path digital filters per voice, multiple envelopes and LFOs, and an expansive modulation engine provide endless sound design depth.
