It combines classic studio tone with professional recording flexibility, making it ideal for vocals, acoustic instruments, drums, pianos, streaming, and podcasting applications.

At its core, the WA-47jr Black features a vintage-accurate K47-style large-diaphragm capsule based on the legendary dual-backplate design found in sought-after ‘47 microphones. This capsule delivers detailed mids, warm lows, and smooth highs, while its discrete signal path and ultra-low self-noise ensure clean, professional-grade audio reproduction.

Designed for versatility, the WA-47jr Black offers three selectable polar patterns-cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 along with a 10 dB pad and a 70 Hz high-pass filter for handling loud sources and reducing unwanted low-frequency noise. It includes professional accessories such as a shock mount, hard mount, and leather storage case, while each unit is hand-tested in Austin, Texas for consistent quality and performance.
