Description

The Warm Audio WA-8000 is a premium tube condenser microphone inspired by one of the most sought-after microphone designs of the early 1990s. Engineered to stay true to the original specifications, it delivers the signature sound associated with modern R&B and hip-hop recordings, featuring a natural and open top end, exceptionally clear midrange, and remarkable vocal detail.

At the core of the WA-8000 is a rigorously tested New Old Stock military-grade 6AU6 tube paired with a custom Lundahl transformer from Sweden for outstanding detail and expansive sound reproduction. It also features an all-brass K67-style capsule wired directly to the tube, capturing subtle nuances with impressive accuracy and warmth. An external tube mount with a built-in heat sink helps reduce self-noise while maintaining optimal operating temperature for consistent performance.

Designed with premium components throughout, the WA-8000 includes a boutique 7-pin GAC-7 tube cable from Gotham Switzerland for near-perfect signal transfer and vintage-correct construction quality. For safe storage and transport, the microphone comes complete with an ultra-durable hard carrying case for all included components, making it a reliable choice for professional studio environments.
