The Warm Audio WA76-A2 is a dual-channel, vintage-voiced FET compressor that faithfully recreates the legendary “blue stripe” 76-style compression known for its ultra-fast attack, aggressive character, and rich analog grit. Designed for modern studios, it combines classic circuitry with enhanced control options, delivering both vintage tone and flexible workflow integration.
At its core, the WA76-A2 features a fully discrete analog signal path with premium components and custom CineMag transformers, capturing the unmistakable warmth and punch of the original designs. Its fast response and dynamic control make it ideal for vocals, drums, guitars, and full mixes.
Built for today’s production needs, the WA76-A2 adds modern features like dry/wet mix for parallel compression, selectable input impedance, and variable sidechain filtering. Whether used in stereo, dual-mono, or linked operation, it offers precise control while preserving the iconic analog character trusted in professional studios.
