The Waves 2URKSHLF is a custom-made 2U rack shelf designed to securely mount two half-rack SoundGrid servers’ side-by-side in a standard 19-inch rack frame. It provides a clean, professional rack-mounting solution for protecting and transporting essential Waves hardware, making it ideal for touring, live sound, broadcast, and fixed installations. The size and fit are fully compatible with Waves SoundGrid devices purchased before February 2022.
Constructed from sturdy, all-metal materials, the shelf is built for long-term durability and road-ready reliability. Cutouts on the bottom of the tray, along with side vent ports, ensure proper airflow around the servers, helping maintain stable operating temperatures during extended sessions and demanding live performances.
For added installation flexibility, the Waves 2URKSHLF includes all necessary mounting hardware. Black matte screws are provided for mounting a SoundGrid Impact Server-C to the underside of the tray, while metallic screws allow side mounting of compatible servers. This versatile design keeps your SoundGrid setup secure, organized, and properly cooled in any professional rack environment.
