The Waves Axis Proton is a dedicated host computer built specifically for Waves Live applications, including eMotion LV1 and SuperRack SoundGrid. Optimized for professional performance, it supports eMotion LV1 in a 16-channel configuration or SuperRack SoundGrid with up to 32 channels, integrating seamlessly with SoundGrid I/Os, servers, and other system components.
Housed in a sleek and durable 1U half-rack aluminum chassis, Axis Proton is designed for reliability in live environments and can be rack-mounted using optional rack ears. Powered by an Intel Celeron J-Series processor with 4 cores and 8 GB of RAM, it features a fast 256 GB internal SSD and comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 for immediate deployment.
Axis Proton delivers ultra-low latency performance of just 0.8 MS at 48 kHz, making it ideal for live mixing and real-time processing. With dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI connectivity, and multiple USB ports, it offers flexible system integration. For a compact yet powerful 32-channel live mixing solution, Axis Proton pairs perfectly with the SoundGrid Server One-C and the eMotion LV1 live mixer.
