Waves TRACT System Calibration - Time & Frequency Correction for Stage

The Waves TRCTSP goes beyond the traditional “sweet spot” approach by creating a “sweet area” for your sound system. Unlike conventional room tuning systems that optimize audio for a single listening position, TRCTSP captures up to eight response snapshots and merges them into a single correction curve. This ensures consistent, accurate sound coverage across the widest possible area, making every seat in the venue sound its best.

Fully integrated with Rational Acoustics’ Smaart software (v9 Suite, RT, LE), TRCTSP allows engineers to perform industry-standard, high-precision measurement and analysis. Using these measurements, it generates corrective FIR EQ curves to fix room anomalies, offering the choice between minimal-phase curves for ultra-low latency or linear-phase curves for perfect phase coherence.

For further customization, TRCTSP provides up to eight bands of IIR EQ filters, including bell, low/high shelves, flat-tops, tilt EQs, Butterworth, and Linkwitz-Riley curves. Additionally, the Sub Zoom function allows detailed low-frequency analysis and phase alignment of subwoofers, maximizing impact and clarity in the bass range. This combination of precision and flexibility ensures optimal sound quality for any live or installed audio environment.
