The Yamaha CXS18XLF is a powerful bass-reflex subwoofer designed to deliver extended low-frequency performance with exceptional clarity. Its high-output 18" driver with a 4" voice coil produces deep, authoritative bass while achieving a class-leading maximum SPL of 133 dB, making it ideal for demanding live sound and installation applications.
Built to handle serious power, the CXS18XLF supports up to 1000W (PGM) input and is capable of cardioid operation when used with external processors or DSP-equipped power amplifiers. This allows precise low-frequency control, reducing unwanted stage bleed and improving overall system definition in complex acoustic environments.
The enclosure is constructed from lightweight yet highly durable plywood and finished in a rugged Polyurea coating for superior protection on the road. Practical features such as dual-pole sockets, three SpeakON NL4MP connectors, and support for optional wheel kits and protective covers make the CXS18XLF a reliable, professional-grade subwoofer built for long-term performance.
