The Yamaha DXS15XLF is a high-output powered 15" subwoofer designed to deliver deep, authoritative bass for demanding professional sound applications. Equipped with a high-output 4" voice coil and a powerful 1600W Class-D amplifier, it achieves up to 136 dB SPL with a wide 33 Hz–150 Hz frequency range. The result is tight, impactful low-end performance that adds real weight and presence to any live sound or installed PA system.
Advanced DSP and D-XSUB Processing:
Driven by a 96 kHz high-power DSP with FIR filtering, the DXS15XLF ensures high-definition sound with extremely low latency. Onboard D-XSUB processing provides flexible low-frequency control with NORMAL, BOOST, and XTENDED LF modes, allowing you to tailor bass response from balanced and punchy to extended, thunderous lows. Cardioid Mode further enhances system performance by reducing on-stage bass while directing more low-frequency energy toward the audience.
Professional Connectivity and System Integration:
The DXS15XLF is available in a Dante-equipped configuration, enabling seamless integration with Yamaha digital mixing consoles and other Dante-compatible devices. With 2-in/2-out Dante I/O and sample rate conversion, system setup is fast and flexible, whether using analog connections or digital audio networking. Compatibility with Yamaha ProVisionaire Control and ProVisionaire Touch allows intuitive remote monitoring and control for sophisticated sound reinforcement systems.
Road-Ready Enclosure Design:
Built for durability and portability, the DXS15XLF features a lightweight yet rugged plywood cabinet finished in a premium Polyurea coating for superior resistance against scratches, impacts, and harsh environments. A newly designed aluminum handle ensures easy handling, while optional wheel kits and padded covers provide added convenience and protection during transport.
