Description
The Yamaha MA2120 is a Lo-Z / Hi-Z switchable Class-D mixer amplifier designed for medium-scale commercial audio systems that require power, flexibility, and reliability. It delivers up to 120W x 2 channels at 4Ω or 100W x 2 channels at 3Ω/8Ω in low-impedance mode, and up to 200W in high-impedance 70V/100V systems. Housed in a compact 1U rack-mount chassis, the MA2120 combines high output with energy-efficient performance.
Extensive Inputs and Advanced DSP Processing
Equipped with 6 mic/line inputs and 2 stereo inputs, the MA2120 offers exceptional connectivity for background music and paging applications. All six microphone inputs feature switchable 24V phantom power, supporting a wide range of microphones. Built-in DSP functions enhance both music and speech clarity, including Feedback Suppressor, Priority Ducker, Leveler, Compressor, Reverb, and Echo. Bass and treble stereo source EQ with an enhancer function, along with per-channel output EQ, allow precise tonal control.
Flexible Speaker Support and Zoning Capability
The MA2120 supports both low-impedance and high-impedance speaker systems without the need for external transformers. Built-in speaker EQ optimized for Yamaha VXC and VXS series speakers, along with HPF and selectable LPF settings, ensures consistent sound quality across installations. With true two-channel output, the MA2120 enables independent source and volume control for two separate zones, making it ideal for multi-area venues. System expansion is easily achieved by adding a PA2120 power amplifier.
