The Yamaha MRX7-D offers centralized management of multiple sound systems, making it ideal for corporate conference rooms, educational facilities, shopping malls, and other large-scale environments. Its freely configurable architecture allows audio engineers to create tailored solutions using the processor’s extensive DSP capabilities. With built-in Dante connectivity, the MRX7-D can integrate seamlessly with a wide range of Dante-enabled devices, including Yamaha digital mixers, enhancing system flexibility and scalability.
High Connectivity and Expansion Options
Equipped with multiple I/O options, the MRX7-D supports up to six microphone/line inputs, two stereo inputs, and additional I/O expansion through EXi8/EXo8 cards or Mini-YGDAI cards, allowing up to 16 channels of expansion. The unit also features SD card playback for MP3 or WAV files, ideal for music, announcements, or preset chimes. Dual Dante ports and YDIF connectivity provide versatile networking, enabling both short- and long-distance digital audio transmission while simplifying cabling and reducing installation costs.
Advanced DSP and Paging Capabilities
The MRX7-D includes a wide range of built-in processing components, including faders, ON/OFF switches, matrix source selectors, graphic EQs, Dugan automixing, speech privacy, and acoustic echo cancellation. These features ensure consistent and intelligible sound, even in complex setups with multiple microphones. Yamaha’s PGM1 and PGX1 paging stations, fully compatible with Dante networks, further enhance paging flexibility for large commercial spaces.
Intuitive Software and Secure Operation
The MTX-MRX Editor software provides a graphical interface for rapid system setup, including device layout, component configuration, and external controller assignment. User access can be managed with multiple permission levels, ensuring secure operation. Additional features, such as the Speech Privacy System and Revolabs mute link integration, protect confidential information and streamline microphone control, making the MRX7-D a comprehensive solution for professional audio management.
