The Yamaha PC406-D is a high-performance Class-D amplifier delivering 600W x 4 at 8Ω, designed for professional touring and installation applications. More than just a power amplifier, it features a 20 x 8 input matrix, allowing flexible routing of audio signals from multiple sources. With onboard Dante I/O, it supports 16-channel Dante input/output at up to 96 kHz, enabling low-latency, high-quality digital audio distribution across a networked system.

Flexible System Integration with Matrix and Dante

The PC406-D excels in both mixer-assisted and mixer-less configurations. Its matrix functionality enables the combination of analog and digital signals for output to speakers or other Dante-enabled devices, while the Dante outputs allow further signal distribution with EQ and processing applied. This flexibility allows integrators to expand system matrices, construct multi-zone setups, and route audio with precision without requiring additional DSP or mixers.

Advanced Onboard Speaker Processing

Equipped with powerful onboard DSP, the PC406-D provides 16-band PEQ, crossover, delay, FIR filtering, and RMS/peak limiting for precise speaker tuning. Yamaha-optimized speaker presets, including those for the CZR Series, make setup fast and reliable, ensuring the best performance for a wide range of commercial and live sound applications. These processing capabilities can also be shared via Dante outputs, enabling centralized EQ control across multiple amplifiers.

Intuitive Control and Remote Operation

Control and configuration are streamlined through ProVisionaire Amp Editor, with compatibility for ProVisionaire Touch and ProVisionaire Control for remote operation. Custom remote panels can also be provided if needed. Detachable handles, replaceable filters, and high-efficiency design make the PC406-D not only powerful but reliable and easy to maintain, even in demanding professional environments.
