Description
The Yamaha PGM1 is a dedicated paging station microphone designed to seamlessly integrate with MRX Series signal processors, adding reliable paging and message playback to networked audio systems. Supporting Dante networking and Power over Ethernet (PoE), the PGM1 allows clean, low-latency audio transmission and simple installation using a single network cable. Each system can support up to four PGM1 units, with one unit assignable as a priority microphone for critical announcements.
Equipped with eight fully assignable buttons, the PGM1 offers flexible control over output destinations and input sources, all configurable through the MTX-MRX Editor software. An onboard SD card reader enables playback of chimes and pre-recorded messages, making it ideal for announcements, alerts, and scheduled messaging in commercial and public environments. This combination of live paging and message playback provides a versatile communication solution within a single device.
For expanded control, each PGM1 can be paired with up to two PGX1 expansion units, allowing detailed specification of broadcast regions and access to a larger selection of messages. System setup and management are handled easily through the MTX-MRX Editor, ensuring quick configuration and scalable operation. With its networked design and flexible functionality, the Yamaha PGM1 delivers a powerful and efficient paging solution for modern installed audio systems.
