Yamaha PGX1 Paging Station Extension for PGM1 Station Microphone

The Yamaha PGX1 is a paging extension unit designed to expand the functionality of the PGM1 paging station microphone when used with MTX5-D and MRX7-D signal processors. By adding eight additional assignable control buttons, the PGX1 increases system flexibility, allowing operators to manage more output destinations and input sources without increasing system complexity. Up to two PGX1 units can be connected to a single PGM1, making it easy to scale paging systems as requirements grow.

Each of the PGX1’s eight buttons can be freely assigned through the MTX-MRX Editor, enabling precise control over broadcast zones, source selection, and paging functions. This makes the PGX1 ideal for installations that require detailed zone control, such as commercial facilities, educational institutions, and public venues. The clear, button-based interface ensures quick and intuitive operation for everyday paging tasks.

The PGX1 is powered directly from the PGM1 and connects using the included 8-pin connection cable, eliminating the need for additional power supplies or network connections. Its seamless integration with the PGM1 and full compatibility with the MTX-MRX Editor ensure straightforward installation and configuration.
