The Yamaha TIO1608-D2 is a versatile, Dante-compatible I/O rack designed for seamless integration with Yamaha digital mixers such as the TF Series and DM3. It features 16 mic/line inputs and 8-line outputs, allowing gain control directly from the connected console. Ideal for constructing a simple yet high-quality stagebox system, the Tio1608-D2 also supports 96 kHz audio, making it suitable for large-scale installations alongside RIVAGE PM or DME7 systems. Its compact, durable design ensures reliable performance in live or installed environments.
Scalable Dante Network Integration
Leveraging the Dante audio network protocol, the Tio1608-D2 allows for low-latency, high-fidelity audio transmission over a single CAT5e Ethernet cable. It can be combined with multiple consoles or additional R-series I/O racks to create scalable systems that match the requirements of any venue or budget. Automatic configuration features like QUICK CONFIG for TF Series and AUTO CONFIG for DM3 simplify setup, while patching and routing can be easily managed via the TF Series input screen or DM3 PATCH menu.
Premium Sound with Recallable D-PRE-Preamps
The Tio1608-D2 inherits Yamaha’s recallable D-PRE microphone preamplifiers, providing consistent, natural, and musical sound across all inputs. Its meticulous design-from circuit layout and grounding to component selection-ensures a high-quality sonic foundation. The unit supports Remote HA control, allowing gain adjustments from the console, and works seamlessly with StageMix app for wireless remote control, giving engineers flexible operation from the stage, audience, or control area.
