The Yamaha VXC8 is a 2-way in-ceiling loudspeaker featuring an 8" low-frequency driver and a 1" soft-dome tweeter, engineered to deliver high-quality background music and clear speech intelligibility. With up to 360W power handling and a 100° conical sound dispersion, it provides full, natural audio coverage for commercial spaces such as restaurants, retail stores, hotels, museums, and conference rooms. The speaker supports both low-impedance setups via its 8 Ω bypass and high-impedance operation through a 60W 70/100V multi-tap transformer, offering maximum flexibility for a wide range of installations.
Installation is safe, simple, and efficient thanks to integrated anti-drop tabs and a built-in carrying handle, which allow the speaker to be temporarily secured and easily positioned by a single installer. Its low-profile, lightweight design ensures it fits discreetly into ceilings while reducing installation effort. Every detail, from transducer selection to acoustic absorption placement, has been carefully optimized to achieve refined, balanced audio reproduction without distortion, even at lower output levels.
