The Yamaha VXS8W is a highly adaptable surface-mount speaker designed for professional indoor and outdoor applications. Featuring an 8" low-frequency driver and 1" soft-dome tweeter, it delivers powerful, clear sound with up to 360W power handling and a 100° conical dispersion for uniform coverage across any listening area. Its white finish and paintable enclosure allow seamless integration into any décor, while the IP35 rating ensures reliable performance even in semi-exposed or outdoor environments.
Equipped with a 60W 70/100V multi-tap transformer and 8-ohm bypass, the VXS8W can operate in both high-impedance and low-impedance systems, offering maximum flexibility for a variety of installation scenarios. The speaker comes with a dedicated mounting bracket, enabling secure wall or ceiling installation with adjustable tilt and pan angles. The gear guides in the bracket simplify alignment, making setup quick and precise.
Yamaha’s VXS Series focuses on both sound quality and aesthetic design. The hexagonal grille improves clarity by increasing the aperture ratio, while the smooth curves of the cabinet allow for close-to-wall mounting without compromising performance.
