Description
The Zero Cable Sunshield for the AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ and XDJ-RX3 does two jobs at once. It shades the display so the screen stays readable under direct sun or hard stage light, and it works as a cable hider, with an integrated channel that takes the rear leads out of sight. Outside dimensions are 11.8 x 13.2 x 6.1 in (300 x 335 x 155 mm), made in Germany from ABS and premium acrylic.
That combination is what separates it from a plain sun hood. Daylight gigs, rooftops, beach clubs and festival main stages get a legible screen and cable management in the same part, so the booth reads clean from the front while the connectors stay protected from cable movement and accidental unplugging. The matte black finish matches the equipment, and the top panel takes a logo, an artist name or a rental asset tag.
Is this a cable hider for a DJ booth?
Yes. It is purpose-built cable management for the back of an XDJ-AZ or XDJ-RX3: the connector panel and the cable tails sit inside the shell, and the leads leave through one integrated channel instead of fanning out across the booth. It is not an adhesive cord raceway for a wall or a desk.
What does it fit?
The AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ and XDJ-RX3, and nothing else in the range. Zero Cable cuts a separate part per model because the shell has to sit flush against that specific rear panel, so a cover for a different player will not seat correctly.
How is a sunshield different from the plain cable cover?
The sunshield adds height to shade the display. This one stands 13.2 in (335 mm) tall against the 3.54 in (90 mm) of a plain Zero Cable cover, and that extra material is what blocks the glare. Both carry the same integrated cable channel, so you get the cable management either way. Buy the sunshield if you play daylight or high-glare rooms; buy the cover if the screen is already readable and you only want the cables hidden.
Can I put my logo on it?
Yes. The top panel is flat and unbranded, which is why rental companies and venues use it for an asset tag, a venue logo or an artist name. It takes vinyl or a printed decal.
Is the player included?
No. The gear shown in the photos is there to show the fit. You are buying the Zero Cable sunshield only.
