F-Series Preamps with 32-Bit Float Precision:
At the heart of the H5studio are Zoom’s F-Series preamps, known for their ultra-low noise performance with an EIN of -127 dBu. These preamps, paired with dual AD converters and 32-bit float technology, offer a massive 132 dB dynamic range. The result is clear, distortion-free recordings without worrying about clipping or adjusting gain levels. It also supports 16-bit and 24-bit recording for those who prefer traditional formats with manual control.
Versatile Input Options and Capsule System 3.0
The H5studio features two locking XLR/TRS combo jacks with support for +48V phantom power and line-level input. A stereo mini jack with plug-in power is also included for external microphones. It ships with the XYH-5s capsule in a 90º stereo layout, capable of handling up to 140 dB SPL. Zoom’s Capsule System 3.0 gives creators the freedom to swap capsules and expand functionality, now with full support for 32-bit float.
High-Resolution Recording with Extended Battery Life:
Capture up to six tracks at once, including four isolated inputs and a stereo mix, with sampling rates up to 192 kHz in WAV format. The H5studio also functions as a USB-C audio interface with up to four inputs and two outputs. Record directly to microSDHC or microSDXC cards and monitor with the full-color LCD. With up to 21 hours of battery life using lithium batteries, it’s ready for extended field sessions and remote projects.
