Browsing built to go beyond the next track

The 10.1-inch high-resolution capacitive touchscreen displays up to 16 tracks in the browse screen, so you find and play tracks faster. Copy track information and paste it straight into the search bar for rapid searching. Global Tag List manages tracks from multiple USB drives, cloud storage locations and streaming services in a single playlist, and anything tagged from an online source begins downloading immediately, minimising load times mid-performance.

Hot cues built for improvising

Touch Cue lets you listen to any point in a track through your headphones by pressing on the waveform, and you can now set a Hot Cue from the point you are monitoring. Smart Cue automatically overwrites the current cue point with a called-up Hot Cue. Gate Cue plays sound only while a Hot Cue button is held, opening up tone play and stutter techniques.

Built to survive the booth

When you load a track, the whole file is cached to the player's memory, so a pulled USB drive or a brief internet dropout will not stop playback mid-set. The play and cue buttons are rebuilt to handle the most energetic use, and the expanded jog wheel tension range lets you find your sweet spot whether you are scratching hard or bending pitch delicately.

Refined sound performance

Building on the audio processing developed for the CDJ-3000, the CDJ-3000X uses a new high-performance ESS Technology digital-to-analog converter for a better signal-to-noise ratio and clearer reproduction. A newly designed power supply reduces unwanted noise and strengthens low-frequency power, giving punchy bass and a warm tone that does not tire the ears over long sets. Tuning was refined through on-site testing in club environments with input from professional sound engineers.
