Chauvet DJ COLORband PiX-M ILS Moving LED Wash Light (RGB)

The Chauvet DJ COLORband PiX-M ILS (COLORBANDPIXMILS) is a motorized LED strip light for mobile DJs, clubs and event stages that sweeps, pixel maps, blinds and washes walls. It has 10 individually controllable tri-color RGB LEDs, tilts 245° on built-in motors, and measures 31 in (785 mm) long at 8.2 lb (3.7 kg).

Individual LED control lets you build animations and video-style effects across the bar, or you can simply tilt it to aim light where you need it. Control options include a built-in RF receiver for the optional RFC or RFC-XL remotes, ILS compatibility, D-Fi USB (sold separately) for wireless master/slave or DMX, and onboard 3- and 5-pin DMX connectors. powerCON in and out lets you power-link up to 12 units at 120 V.

What can the COLORband PiX-M ILS do?

It works as a sweeping moving effect, a pixel-mapping effect, a blinder or a wall washer. Each of the 10 LEDs can be controlled on its own, and the motorized 245° tilt moves the whole bar.

Do I need a DMX controller?

No. It runs with the optional RFC or RFC-XL wireless remote through its built-in RF receiver, syncs with other fixtures through ILS, and also takes DMX by cable or wirelessly with D-Fi USB.

How many can I run from one outlet?

Up to 12 units at 120 V can be power-linked through the powerCON connectors (20 at 230 V).
