The Chauvet DJ Intimidator Spot 360X IP is an outdoor-rated moving head spot fixture designed to deliver powerful lighting effects for events and productions in challenging environments. Its IP65 rating, durable magnalium housing, and water-resistant power connections make it suitable for outdoor applications. The 100 W cool white LED produces bright, focused output for stages, festivals, mobile events, and entertainment venues.
Powerful Spot Performance
The 100 W LED light source produces a focused 15° beam with an output of up to 4,268 lumens. Motorized focus keeps projected gobos crisp across different distances, while the 8-color wheel plus white provides versatile color options. Continuous color scrolling and split-color capability add variety to programmed lighting effects. The fixture also delivers strong illuminance for both short and medium-throw applications.
Dynamic Gobo and Prism Effects
Intimidator Spot 360X IP features seven gobos plus open, including six aluminum gobos and one glass gobo. The rotating and interchangeable gobos support indexing, continuous scrolling, and slot-n-lock functionality. Dual rotating prisms, including a 5-facet linear prism and 3-facet round prism, split and multiply the beam to create expansive aerial effects. Both prisms can rotate bidirectionally at variable speeds.
Outdoor-Ready Construction
Designed for outdoor use, the fixture features an IP65 rating that provides protection against dust and water. Its magnalium housing offers a combination of strength, lightweight construction, and corrosion resistance. The fixture can operate in temperatures from -22°F to 113°F (-30°C to 45°C), with a startup range of -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C). Water-resistant power input and output connections help simplify installation in outdoor environments.
Wireless Control and Programming
A built-in RF receiver allows wireless operation with the optional RFC and RFC-XL remotes without requiring DMX for basic control. The full-color LCD display provides direct access to fixture settings and allows users to set, save, and recall one scene. The improved home position prevents unwanted whip-around movement when programs are triggered, resulting in smoother and more professional transitions.
Flexible Installation and Event Use
The Intimidator Spot 360X IP provides 540° pan and 270° tilt movement with selectable movement ranges for different programming requirements. Its ¼-turn hanging bracket supports single or dual clamp mounting configurations, while the 13 mm mounting hole provides a secure installation point. Totem mode keeps moving beams focused on the dance floor, making the fixture especially useful for concerts, outdoor events, mobile entertainment, festivals, and production environments.
