Chauvet DJ Intimidator Spot 360X IP 100W IP65 Moving-Head Light

The Chauvet DJ Intimidator Spot 360X IP (INTIMSPOT360XIP) is an IP65 outdoor-rated LED moving-head spot for mobile DJs, festivals, outdoor weddings and stages where rain or dust is a risk. A 100 W cool white LED puts out 4,268 lumens through a 15 degree beam, with 7 gobos, 8 colors plus white, two rotating prisms and 540 by 270 degrees of movement, in a 23 lb magnalium housing.

Water-resistant power input and output connections speed up outdoor setup, and a built-in RF receiver works with the optional RFC and RFC-XL remotes for wireless control without DMX. It runs 8 or 14 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR, and an improved home position stops whip-around movement when programs start.

Can the Intimidator Spot 360X IP be used outdoors?

Yes. It is IP65 rated against dust and water, has water-resistant power connections and a corrosion-resistant magnalium housing, and operates from -22 to 113 F.

What effects can it project?

Seven gobos plus open (six aluminum and one glass) that rotate, index and scroll, an 8-color wheel plus white with split colors, and two rotating prisms, a 5-facet linear and a 3-facet round, that split the beam to cover more area. Motorized focus keeps gobos sharp at different throw distances.

Do I need a DMX controller?

No. The built-in RF receiver works with the optional RFC or RFC-XL remote, and one scene can be set and recalled from the onboard LCD. Totem mode keeps the beams aimed at the dance floor. DMX gives 8 or 14 channels for full programming.

How do I hang it?

The included 1/4-turn hanging bracket takes one or two clamps, and the bracket mounting hole is 13 mm. It fits the Intimidator Road Case for transport.

Intimidator Spot 360X IP or Intimidator Spot 360X?

Both use a 100 W LED with 7 gobos, 8 colors plus white, the same two prisms and 540 by 270 degrees of movement. The 360X IP adds an IP65 outdoor rating and water-resistant power connections, puts out 4,268 lumens through a fixed 15 degree beam and weighs 23 lb.
