The DAS Audio EVENT-28A, Active 2x8" Line Array Module is an advanced two-way powered line array system, designed for exceptional performance and user-friendly operation. Its portable polypropylene cabinet is stylish, durable, and suitable for small to mid-size rental and installation applications. The system incorporates two 8" neodymium transducers and a single M-60 compression driver in a robust yet lightweight polymer cabinet, ensuring efficient sound projection and superior low-frequency response. The symmetric "V" shaped configuration delivers consistent 100º horizontal coverage down to 200 Hz. Powered by a two-channel Class D amplifier with 1300 Wpeak power, it features high-quality Neutrik XLR and powerCON connectors, DAScontrol interface for preset selection, and onboard DSP for crossover, EQ, delay, and limiter functions.
The EVENT-28A's FIR filtering technology maintains constant phase response, providing transparent sound and exceptional clarity. Installation is streamlined with the Fast Set Splay (FSS) rigging system, supporting flown arrays of up to 16 units.
