The DAS Audio EVENT-30A packs 2,000 watts of power and 142 dB of headroom into a 58-lb self-powered enclosure that tunes itself to its place in the array. No amp racks. No tuning laptop. Just fast, repeatable, professional sound for medium and large events.
Why the EVENT-30A stands out
- Self-powered, 2,000 W peak. Dual 10″ neodymium woofers and two 1.75″ M-60 compression drivers run off an onboard high-efficiency Class D amplifier, so there are no separate amp racks to transport or wire.
- Smart Self-Tuning. Each cabinet automatically detects its position in the array and loads the optimized long-throw or short-throw preset, cutting setup time and eliminating tuning mistakes.
- 24-bit DSP with FIR processing. Factory-engineered filtering keeps tone and level consistent from the front row to the back wall.
- Fast Set Splay (FSS) rigging. The captive rigging system lets you set precise vertical splay angles in seconds, with no loose hardware to drop or lose.
- 90° of even coverage. A controlled horizontal pattern down to 200 Hz spreads sound evenly across wide rooms and large crowds.
- Light for its class. A rugged trapezoidal polypropylene enclosure holds weight to just 58.3 lbs, so a single tech can lift, stack, and fly it.
- DAScontrol ready. Monitor and manage the entire system remotely; pairs with the INTEGRAL-M26X and INTEGRAL-M48D processors.
Sets itself up so you don't have to
Smart Self-Tuning is the headline feature for busy production teams. As you build the array, each EVENT-30A senses where it sits in the hang and applies the correct DSP preset on its own. That means less time on a laptop, fewer chances to misconfigure a box, and a consistent result show after show.
Serious output, no amp rack
With 1,000 W continuous and 2,000 W peak of onboard Class D power, the EVENT-30A reaches 138 dB linear and 142 dB maximum SPL from a single cabinet. Balanced XLR input and loop-thru make daisy-chaining a full array quick and clean, and powerCON in/out keeps AC distribution tidy across the hang.
