By sliding over the strings near the bridge of your 4- or 5-string electric bass, it instantly creates a tight, staccato sound reminiscent of vintage and upright bass styles, freeing up your playing hand for greater expression and control.

Developed as a natural evolution of Gruv Gear’s popular FretWraps, the Fump offers a cleaner and more convenient alternative to stuffing foam under the strings. It installs in seconds, can be inserted from the top or bottom, and requires only minimal space between the pickup and bridge. With no moving parts, it delivers consistent performance while remaining easy to use in both live and studio environments.

Designed with practicality in mind, the FUMP5-BLK can be quickly removed and clipped onto your strap or music stand when not in use. It works best on setups with little to no fingerboard radius, providing optimal contact for effective muting.
