The HK Audio LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA is the optimal solution for sound reinforcement of large, long and wide rooms as well as open airs. The LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA long-throw mid/high unit closes the gap between the classic point source PA and the line array in the form of a compact, horn-loaded speaker cabinet.

The high-SPL HF-Driver with Multicell Transformer (MCT) makes enormous throw distances possible, while the loudspeaker remains compact and easy to handle. Up to 40 meters and up to 3000 people can be covered in a balanced and powerful way without having to use delay lines. Lows and mids are reproduced concisely and voluminously by three vertically arranged, horn-loaded 8-inch woofers

LINEAR 5 MK II 308 LTA systems can be used as groundstack or flown, as cluster, headstack or headstack cluster. Precisely tuned presets can be selected directly on the loudspeaker. Depending on the configuration, the systems offer more sound pressure, a wider dispersion (cluster), more sound depth (headstack) or a combination of both advantages (headstack cluster). For the optimal implementation of different setups, optional accessories are available that are perfectly tailored to the requirements, facilitate handling when rigging, clustering and headstacking, and are compatible with the classic LINEAR 5 series.

Precise sound tuning is possible with the network-controllable, state-of-the-art high-performance DSP with FIR filtering. The required HK Audio DSP CONTROL software is available free of charge. Even without software, the speaker can be configured extensively and easily using presets that can be selected directly on the speaker. Using the DSP-Out, speakers without their own DSP or existing LINEAR speakers can be integrated into the system.

PowerCon connectors with PowerCon Link simplify cabling and save cable material. For example, a flown headstack cluster can be operated with only one power supply line. The RCS rain cover set included in the scope of delivery reliably protects the electronics from rain.
