The JBL Control 25AV-WH is a professional 2-way passive loudspeaker system designed for foreground music and voice reproduction in indoor and outdoor installations. Sold as a pair, each speaker features a durable 5.25" polypropylene-coated paper woofer and a 0.75" titanium-coated PEI tweeter. The system delivers a 70 Hz to 23 kHz frequency range with clear and balanced sound reproduction. Its 100° x 100° coverage provides broad and consistent sound distribution. With 200W program and 100W RMS power handling, it is suitable for a wide range of commercial audio applications.
The Control 25AV-WH incorporates a low-saturation 60W transformer for flexible distributed-audio systems. It supports 70V and 100V constant-voltage operation with multiple transformer taps, while an 8Ω bypass setting allows connection to conventional low-impedance amplifiers. Its 12 dB/octave crossover network provides smooth frequency distribution between the woofer and tweeter. SonicGuard circuitry provides full-range power limiting to help protect the speaker components against excessive input levels. The screw-down terminal strip provides secure connections and accepts wire sizes up to 12 AWG.
Designed for demanding installation environments, the Control 25AV-WH features a high-impact polystyrene enclosure and stainless steel grille. Its IPX4 water-resistant construction makes it suitable for appropriate indoor and outdoor applications. The included InvisiBall mounting system allows flexible positioning and aiming while maintaining a discreet installation. The speaker provides up to 113 dB peak SPL and 107 dB continuous SPL with 87 dB sensitivity. Its magnetically shielded enclosure also allows placement near video monitors. The white finish provides a clean appearance for commercial, hospitality, retail, and architectural installations.
