Description
The LD Systems U305.1 BPH (U3051BPH) is a UHF diversity wireless headset system for presenters, fitness instructors, worship leaders and performers who need their hands free. This USA version runs in the 514 to 542 MHz band with 12 selectable channels, reaches up to 328 ft (100 m) in ideal conditions, and the bodypack runs about 10 hours on two AA batteries.
The set includes the U305.1 R receiver, a bodypack transmitter and the WS 100 MH 1 condenser headset microphone. One-touch infrared syncing pairs the transmitter and receiver, and a pilot tone squelch keeps the receiver quiet when no valid signal is present. Up to six U300 systems can run at the same time in the band. LD Systems developed the U300 series in Germany.

Which frequency band does the U305.1 BPH use?
514 to 542 MHz. This is the USA version of the U300 system, which LD Systems sells only in the USA; the country and device frequency lists are in the downloads on the LD Systems product page.
How many U305.1 systems can I run at the same time?
Up to six U300 systems can run together in the same frequency band, each on its own channel out of the 12 available.
Can I use the bodypack with a guitar or bass?
Yes. The bodypack input level adjusts in three steps for active and passive instruments, its lower cut-off of 25 Hz handles a 5-string bass with a low B string, and the receiver output switches to instrument level for plugging straight into an amp. This set ships with the headset; the U305.1 BPG is the same system with a guitar cable instead.
How long do the batteries last?
About 10 hours on two AA batteries in the bodypack. The receiver runs from its external 12 to 18 V DC power supply.
U305.1 BPH or U505 BPH?
The U305.1 BPH is the simpler system: 12 channels, a fixed 10 mW output, an LCD display and up to six systems at once, in the 514 to 542 MHz band. The U505 BPH steps up to true diversity reception, 96 channels in 8 groups with an automatic channel scan, switchable 2, 10 or 30 mW output, an OLED display and up to 12 systems at once, in the 584 to 608 MHz band. For two presenters on one receiver, see the U305.1 BPH 2 dual system. For a handheld mic instead of a headset, see the U305.1 HHD, and browse every option in wireless microphones.
