Description
The LD Systems U505 BPH (U505BPH) is a true diversity UHF wireless headset system for presenters, worship leaders, instructors and performers who need their hands free. It runs in the 584 to 608 MHz band with 96 channels in 8 groups, switchable 2, 10 or 30 mW transmit power for a free-field range of over 328 ft (100 m), and up to 10 hours on two AA batteries.
The set pairs the U505 R receiver with the U505 BP bodypack transmitter and the WS 100 MH 1 condenser headset microphone. An automatic channel scan finds a free frequency, one-touch infrared syncing pairs the bodypack to the receiver, and a pilot tone squelch mutes the receiver when a signal without the pilot tone appears. High-contrast OLED displays show group, channel, RF and audio signal strength and battery status, and you can enter a user name for each channel. LD Systems developed the U500 series in Germany.

How many U505 systems can I run at once?
Up to 12 in the 584 to 608 MHz band, each on its own channel. The automatic scan helps find free frequencies when several systems are in the room.
Can I change the transmit power?
Yes. The bodypack switches between 2, 10 and 30 mW, and the 30 mW setting gives the full free-field range of over 328 ft (100 m).
How long does the bodypack run?
Up to 10 hours on two AA batteries, and the OLED displays include a battery status indicator.
Can the receiver feed a guitar or bass amp?
Yes. The receiver output switches to instrument level for a direct connection to guitar and bass amps, and the 30 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response covers low bass notes.
U505 BPH or U305.1 BPH?
The U505 BPH has true diversity reception, 96 channels in 8 groups with automatic scan, switchable 2, 10 or 30 mW output, OLED displays and up to 12 systems at once, in the 584 to 608 MHz band. The U305.1 BPH is the simpler U300 system: 12 channels, a fixed 10 mW output, an LCD display and up to six systems at once, in the 514 to 542 MHz band. If you need the U500 features in the 514 to 542 MHz band, see the U505.1 BPH US. For handheld vocals, see the U505 HHD 2 dual handheld system, or browse all wireless microphones.
