Description
The Neutrik NC3FXX 3 Pole Female Cable Connector with Nickel Housing and Silver Contacts is next generation of the worldwide accepted standard of XLR cable connectors. The successor of the X series offers several new features which make it more reliable, easier to assemble and improves contact integrity as well cable strain relief.
The speakON 4-pole connector features a unique female contact cage design that ensures low contact resistance and high integrity, while an integrated solder barrier prevents solder from entering the contact mating area. The female connector is equipped with an improved solid metal latch that is larger, easier to handle, and more durable. Additional ground spring contacts enhance shell ground continuity, and the upgraded chuck-type strain relief provides higher pull-out force while simplifying assembly. A boot with a polyurethane gland protects against cable bending stresses, and color-coded rings and boots allow for easy identification or coding. The connector combines a sleek, ergonomic design with a rugged zinc die-cast shell for long-lasting reliability, and the internal thread on the shell is well protected against damage.
