Description

The RCF X 40 is a high-performance two-way professional loudspeaker designed for demanding fixed indoor and outdoor installations where audio quality, clarity, and durability are essential. Equipped with two 10-inch high-power woofers with 3.0” voice coils and a 1.4” titanium dome compression driver with a 4.0” voice coil, it delivers powerful output with exceptional maximum SPL, balanced tonal response, and precise sound reproduction.

Advanced Coverage & Acoustic Design

The X 40 features a custom TRW (True Resistive Waveguide) asymmetric horn with 110° x 60° coverage, engineered to provide consistent sound distribution across different listening distances. Its intelligent dispersion design ensures focused energy on audience areas while minimizing ceiling reflections, improving speech intelligibility and overall sound clarity. When combined with advanced processing, it behaves as a coherent single sound source for stable imaging and accurate coverage.

Durable Construction & Professional Performance

Built for all-weather applications, the X 40 uses a high-density polyurethane cabinet with a rugged aluminum grille and waterproof fabric layer for protection against dust and rain. Its RCF precision transducers utilize neodymium magnets for high efficiency, low distortion, and reliable thermal performance. The LICC low-impedance compensated crossover enhances transient response and phase accuracy, while the included vertical wall-mount bracket ensures flexible installation in a wide range of professional environments.
