Fully compatible with EW-DX SK bodypack, EW-DX SKM handheld, and EW-DX TS tabletop transmitters-and backward-compatible with EW-D systems-the EW-DX EM 2 offers a flexible and future-ready wireless solution for portable rigs and permanent setups alike.
Operating in the UHF band, the EW-DX EM 2 delivers exceptional wireless reliability with an extended range of up to 330 feet and an expansive 80 MHz tuning bandwidth providing access to up to 3,200 frequencies. Intelligent Switching Diversity continuously compares signals from dual antennas to ensure clean, uninterrupted audio, while the equidistant tuning grid eliminates complex frequency coordination. For high-density environments, Link Density Mode enables operation of up to 269 simultaneous microphone channels, and AES-256 encryption ensures secure, interference-free transmission even in challenging RF conditions.
Designed for speed and ease of use, the receiver features intuitive front-panel controls and dual high-contrast OLED displays showing RF levels, audio output, and transmitter battery status. Bluetooth connectivity allows remote pairing, syncing, and configuration via the Smart Assist mobile app, while Sennheiser Control Cockpit and Wireless Systems Manager software provide powerful network-based monitoring, frequency coordination, and system management.
