Built for both performance and durability, the SRH1840-BK combines an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy yoke with stainless-steel grilles and a steel driver frame. The vented center pole piece improves driver linearity and helps eliminate internal resonance for consistent performance across listening levels. A lightweight, fully adjustable dual-frame padded headband and replaceable velour ear pads with high-density slow-recovery foam provide exceptional comfort during extended sessions.
The SRH1840-BK is optimized for use with external headphone amplification systems and features dual-exit detachable cables with gold-plated MMCX connectors for secure connectivity and convenient replacement or storage. Each headphone is individually tested and serialized, reflecting Shure's commitment to professional quality and reliability.
